The taxi fare for a straight distance of six or seven kilometers was 237 yuan! Not only that, the driver also asked for 100 yuan for a "return fee" when he got off the car. Xiao Li is from Datong, Shanxi Province, and is currently studying for a master's degree. He initially thought he had encountered a "scalper" and a "black car", so he complained to the law enforcement department.

The guy was charged 337 yuan for a 7-kilometer taxi ride

On the morning of July 17, Xiao Li told reporters about his experience of being cheated when taking a taxi.

"On the morning of July 13, I took a flight from Shandong Penglai Airport to Henan Xinzheng Airport." Xiao Li introduced that he originally planned to take the subway from Xinzheng Airport to Zhengzhou Airport High-speed Railway Station, and then take the high-speed rail back to Taiyuan.

Xiao Li said that because he did not know the location of the subway station, he asked a security guard for directions after leaving the terminal.

"At the time, a woman was chatting with the security guard. When she saw me asking him how to get to the subway station, she said the subway station was packed with people and I couldn't get in, so she asked me to take her car. I thought she was a taxi driver, and I was in a hurry, so I followed her."

Xiao Li said that five or six minutes later, the woman took her to an underground garage and asked her to take another man's car to her destination. After the man started the car, he took out the meter and asked him to look at it. He saw that the starting price was 12 yuan, so he didn't say anything.

"About 15 or 16 minutes later, the car arrived at the destination. The man took out the meter from his pocket and showed it to me. It showed 237 yuan."

Xiao Li said,The meter used by the man looked like it was modified from a mobile phone and did not feel official.Because he was a student and had little social experience, he did not question it at the time and paid the other party 237 yuan via WeChat. After the payment, the other party said that the airport terminal was relatively remote and could not pick up passengers here, so he asked him to pay another 100 yuan for the return trip. Seeing that the other party was tall and strong, he did not dare to say anything and paid the other party another 100 yuan via WeChat.

Xiao Li said that after paying the bill, he checked on his phone. The straight-line distance from Xinzheng Airport to Zhengzhou Airport Terminal is only six or seven kilometers, and the driving route is a bit more roundabout, estimated to be only more than 10 kilometers.Feeling cheated, he reported the case to the local police. The police asked him what the license plate was. He said he was in a hurry to catch the bus and did not write down the other party's license plate. The police said it would be difficult to deal with without the license plate. After that, he reported the case to the local 12345 government hotline.

"I found the other party's address and phone number through WeChat payment records." Xiao Li said that on July 14, he posted his experience online. On the morning of the 17th, the local traffic law enforcement team contacted him to understand the situation and said they would investigate and deal with it.

The guy said the 337 yuan taxi fare had been refunded

On the morning of the 17th, the reporter contacted the traffic law enforcement team at the scene of the incident. The staff said that after seeing the video posted by Xiao Li, they took it very seriously. Preliminary analysis showed that the car that took Xiao Li away was not a regular taxi, and the woman who took Xiao Li to the underground garage before might be a "scalper". They are currently checking the surveillance to find the people and vehicles involved.

At 12:57 p.m. on the 17th, Xiao Li told reporters that the taxi order management station at the scene of the incident refunded him 337 yuan.
