In the first half of the summer travel season, the actual number of passenger flights carried out on inbound and outbound routes exceeded 31,000 flights, and the inbound and outbound passenger volume increased by about 70% year-on-year.

Since the summer travel season began, the average daily international and regional passenger throughput at Beijing Capital Airport has reached 44,000, up 63% from the same period last year, a four-year high.

Since the summer and autumn flight season, Beijing Capital Airport has gradually resumed multiple international destinations. Eight new international destinations have been added, including Havana, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, Seattle, etc. In terms of flight capacity, during the summer, the weekly planned round-trip flights from Beijing Capital to Frankfurt, Paris, London, Munich and other European cities are all above 20, and the weekly round-trip flights from Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok and other Asian cities are all above 50.

In order to facilitate foreign passengers to complete the entry and exit procedures easily, the Capital Airport terminal has set up multilingual signs and guidance, and is also equipped with bilingual broadcasts. The Capital Airport service hotline supports multilingual inquiry services in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, etc. About 250 key merchants in the terminal are equipped with POS machines that can be used by foreign passengers, supporting foreign passengers to pay directly with overseas cards. Banks and stores in the terminal are also equipped with sufficient coin purses for merchants to withdraw cash and make change.

German tourist: In China, you can make all payments using just one app, and buy everything, which is great.

Danish traveler: Online payment is very convenient. You can just "beep" and use the barcode or QR code to pay automatically. The system works very well.

During this summer travel season, Daxing Airport is expected to support 56,000 inbound and outbound flights and more than 8.8 million inbound and outbound passengers. In order to facilitate the entry and exit of foreign passengers, Daxing Airport has set up an independent 144-hour temporary entry permit application area, and arranged special personnel on site to assist passengers in handling transit visa exemption procedures. On July 15, Daxing Airport officially launched the electronic boarding pass service for international and regional flights. The first batch of airlines to open the service are British Airways and Hong Kong Airlines, further facilitating the travel experience of passengers on international and regional flights.
