about the competition

glasner: "dean henderson kept us alive and we never played as badly as we did in the first half. tactically speaking, we lacked courage both in possession and without the ball. it was very passive, which is not the style of play we want but it happens. the chance at the end of the first half gave us some confidence - we had a very frank conversation at half-time. you can always lose a game but with a performance like we did in the second half, i'd take it. the second half was much better and we could have won the game, but to be honest, it was a bit too much today. we have to be critical of ourselves when we play like we did in the first half, there's no point in playing like that."

midfield changes

glasner: "we needed runs from behind. the plan was to attack directly and exploit the spaces - but we didn't do that. we needed physicality in the midfield. everyone did that better in the second half. we changed our shape to control the middle and it worked well in the end. considering the big chances we created in the second half, the draw is okay for us."
