teng xiaoyu, party secretary of yanjingli community, said that there are about 100 households and more than 300 people in the community. after investigation, there are more than 40 electric vehicles. so after consulting the public, the street coordinated with the charging pile company to install 40 charging piles in the carport and equipped with fire extinguishing equipment, which basically met the charging needs of residents. "but the carport lacks management, and the situation of using the carport as a warehouse has repeatedly appeared. 'zombie cars' and stacked materials affect the use of charging piles." therefore, a resident self-governance team was established in the community to manage the charging carport.
mr. shi is a member of the resident self-governance team and also the leader. he said that the resident self-governance team currently has 6 members, who go to the carport twice a week to inspect and clean. if they find "zombie cars" or piles of materials, they will clean them up in time to ensure that the charging facilities are not occupied. in this way, everyone can park and charge conveniently, and the hidden dangers of charging upstairs are eliminated. "the effect of residents' self-governance and self-management is very significant. now everyone has gradually formed a habit. when parking, they will take the initiative to stack the vehicles neatly. the phenomenon of piling up sundries and long-term occupation is also much less than before." teng xiaoyu said.
