on the day of the event, volunteers from xinyinfang walked into the geriatric ward of union hospital wearing simple and elegant cheongsams and carrying carefully prepared musical instruments and songs. the high-pitched singing and lively performances especially touched the patients' hearts after not seeing live performances for a long time. the patients hummed along quietly throughout the whole process, and at the end, they saluted the performers with tears in their eyes and said, "i am moved, moved. i can sing all these, but now i can't sing them anymore. you sang very well, thank you."
