"golden sixty" is known as a legendary horse in the history of hong kong horse racing and is widely loved by horse fans. whenever "golden sixty" competes, the racecourse is always crowded with people cheering for it. "golden sixty" debuted as a 3-year-old horse in 2019 and won 26 races in hong kong, becoming the horse with the highest cumulative prize money in the world, reaching hk$167 million. "golden sixty" has been crowned the "hong kong horse king" for three consecutive seasons, becoming the first horse in the history of hong kong horse racing to win this honor for three consecutive years.
"as a horse owner, i am really satisfied to have a horse like this in my lifetime," chen jialiang said in an interview with china news service. for him and his family, "golden sixty" is not only a racehorse, but also a good companion and friend. chen jialiang also revealed that after retiring, "golden sixty" will first go to australia and then enjoy his retirement life on the northern ranch in hokkaido, japan.
