Space Marines are very powerful, with two hearts, three lungs, and a stomach that can digest any food. These genetically modified human warriors, who are 2.4 meters tall on average, wear power armor, and most commonly use bolt guns that shoot small "rocket" weapons, and can shut down half of their brains to stay awake and fight various cosmic monsters, are the most iconic characters in the Warhammer 40K universe.

Saber Interactive's upcoming game "Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II" is centered around these super soldiers. In an interview, the game's brand and creative manager Yann François said that this kind of strength and hard to die make them difficult to express in the form of video games. Although they have some slight differences depending on the unit they belong to, overall they can fight one hundred people.

“When you read about the Space Marines, the Ultramarines and the Primaris Apothecaries – they are superhuman, to an insane degree,” François said. “They can be two or three meters tall, with two or three hearts working all at once.”

Because of this ridiculous power, François revealed that when the development team was discussing how many players the game should have in co-op, they tried to allow 4 Marines on the battlefield at once, but it just wasn't right: "That was quite a challenge for the team: 'Okay, Marines are almost invincible. How do we create a challenge around that?' Because it would have been really easy... That's why we chose to make a 3-player max multiplayer game, because a lot of people asked 'Why not 4?' They tried it and it became too easy... It became musou, and 3 (Marshals) was just right."

Although the authorities can also slightly weaken the Space Marines in the online mode behind the scenes, this is obviously a "heresy" behavior; or they can choose to increase the number of enemies, but there are already a lot of enemies in the game. Limiting the number of online players is obviously the most direct solution.
