According to the latest sales data released by Famitsu, Konami continues to be a dark horse. "Pro Evolution Soccer 2024-2025" became the best-selling game in Japan in July, with a total of 260,000 copies sold. It beat the sales record of 202,000 copies of its predecessor "Pro Evolution Soccer 2022".

The best-selling game of June, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, could only come in second place, with sales of 71,000 copies. Even more amazing is that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rose instead of falling, climbing to fourth place, with sales of 37,000 copies.

The new game "Nintendo World Championship NES Edition" also performed very well, ranking 5th. The new cold rice "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition" on the Switch platform also performed well, ranking 8th.

In July, Nintendo was the top-selling publisher, accounting for 33.5% of the market share, reaching 2.4 billion yen; Konami jumped to second place, accounting for 29% of sales, reaching 2 billion yen.
