The person in charge of the Passenger Transport Department of China Railway Corporation introduced that since the beginning of this year, China Railway Corporation has thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, actively adapted to the situation of my country's continued economic recovery and accelerated personnel mobility, adhered to the people-centered development philosophy, accelerated the construction of a modern railway transportation service system, scientifically and rationally arranged transportation capacity, and implemented measures to facilitate and benefit the people, effectively ensuring the safe and orderly travel of passengers and actively contributing to the high-quality development of the economy and society.
The transportation capacity is constantly expanding to meet the travel needs of passengers. We have coordinated the resources of high-speed and conventional railways, made good use of the capacity of the new lines opened this year and the high-standard operation results of the Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, tried every means to tap the potential of transportation capacity, and carefully laid out the train operation map. The national railway arranges an average of 10,434 passenger trains per day, an increase of 998 trains and 10.6% year-on-year. Strengthen the organization of cross-border passenger transport, operate high-speed sleeper trains departing in the evening and arriving the next morning between Beijing and Hong Kong, arrange to operate two international passenger trains from Xishuangbanna, China to Luang Prabang, Laos on the China-Laos Railway, and resume the operation of international passenger trains from Hohhot, China to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. From January to July, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed ​​Railway has transported a total of 15.377 million cross-border passengers, a year-on-year increase of 54.7%, and the China-Laos Railway has transported a total of 139,000 cross-border passengers. Vigorously operate 992 tourist trains to expand new consumption scenarios, meet the diverse travel needs of passengers, and help the development of the tourism economy and the silver economy. We have optimized the functions of the railway 12306 standby ticket purchase, online shop selection, pre-filling of ticket purchase information, and subscription notification for the start of sale, and scientifically formulated ticket sales strategies to take into account the travel needs of long-distance and medium- and short-distance passengers, accurately provide information services, and improve the passenger ticket purchase experience. We have actively promoted new ticket systems such as time-based tickets, regular tickets, and tourist packages. Currently, time-based tickets and regular tickets have covered 60 routes, and tourist packages have covered 11 routes. The railway free travel code covers all EMU trains, and convenient transfers can be achieved at 120 stations across the country. 80 stations provide Internet meal ordering services, and the number of EMU trains providing "quiet compartment" services has been expanded to 92, making passengers' travel more warm and comfortable, creating a special brand of EMU catering, improving the quality of train catering services, and striving to provide passengers with "a box of good meals", providing good services for key passengers such as the elderly, children, the sick, the disabled, and pregnant women, providing green channels and caring services, and helping warm travel.

Organize railway cadres and employees to strengthen monitoring and early warning, line inspection, equipment maintenance and other work to minimize the impact of extreme weather on railway transportation safety and order. In view of the super-large passenger flow, strengthen the organization of passenger boarding and disembarking, optimize the flow lines in and out of the station, increase the guidance force at key places, increase the intensity of station security inspection and danger inspection, and ensure good order in stations and trains. Timely release transportation service information such as train suspension and delays, provide ticket refunds, changes and other services, and guide passengers to travel safely and orderly. The railway public security organs have solidly carried out the "three strikes and three preventions", summer public security crackdown and rectification operations, and special rectification of roads and traffic order in the passenger railway station area, creating a good public security environment for passengers to travel safely.
