"The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee clearly mentioned the development of general aviation and low-altitude economy. This has greatly boosted the confidence of industry practitioners. We believe that China's low-altitude economy will continue to take advantage of the momentum and the future is promising." Zhao Deli, founder and president of Xiaopeng Huitian, said with emotion that in the past decade, China's low-altitude economy has developed rapidly, from aerial photography drones to agricultural, logistics, inspection and other drones, to manned flying cars and eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft). The all-encompassing application scenarios are gradually changing people's daily lives and contributing to China's low-altitude economy. In the future, through the technical empowerment of electric aviation, manned flying cars and eVTOL will help solve more levels of traffic problems. Human transportation will rise from two dimensions to three dimensions, greatly improving travel efficiency. The imagination space in this regard is extremely huge.

"In the past, consumer-grade drones may have been worth tens of billions of yuan, and industrial-grade drones have reached hundreds of billions of yuan in scale. Manned aircraft as a means of transportation face a trillion-level market. It is expected that starting from 2026, manned aircraft will gradually change the development of the transportation field, starting with some experience scenarios such as recreational flights," said Zhao Deli.

The plenary session mentioned that it is necessary to improve the system and mechanism for developing new quality productivity in accordance with local conditions. Strengthen the supply of new fields and new tracks, and establish a mechanism for the growth of future industrial investment. Zhao Deli believes that the low-altitude economy, especially the eVTOL and flying car fields, is in a rapid development stage, but to achieve full commercialization, it will take efforts in technology, policies, infrastructure and other aspects in the future. Enterprises need to produce products that are technically safe, reliable and acceptable to consumers; in terms of infrastructure, the government needs to promote the construction of infrastructure such as increasing take-off and landing points; in addition, it is more important to open low-altitude airspace below 300 meters to solve problems such as airspace management, airspace opening and use.

Zhao Deli introduced that in July this year, Guangzhou Development Zone and Xiaopeng Huitian signed a cooperation agreement. The former will support Xiaopeng Huitian in terms of land use, financing, application scenarios, etc. The two sides will jointly promote the research and development, mass production and application of flying cars. He revealed that Xiaopeng Huitian will build a flying car research and development, intelligent manufacturing and sales center in Guangzhou Development Zone to carry out the testing, production, sales, camp operations, etc. of flying cars. Among them, the intelligent manufacturing center is the world's first flying car factory that uses modern assembly lines for large-scale mass production. It will first be used to produce the flying body part of the split flying car "land aircraft carrier". In the same month, Xiaopeng Huitian also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Hechi Municipal Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The two sides will jointly promote the testing, application, supporting services and other key links of future flying cars to create a low-altitude economic development base facing the southwest and radiating ASEAN.

"Our 'land aircraft carrier' split flying car project is about to take a critical leap into the production and manufacturing system. The next step will be to start verification testing. This year, Xiaopeng Huitian will have dozens of cars entering testing. After the prototype comes out in November, we will make its maiden flight at the Zhuhai Air Show, and then hold a press conference at the Guangzhou Auto Show and open reservations. Small-scale deliveries will be made by the end of next year, and large-scale deliveries are expected to be made by 2026." Zhao Deli introduced that as of now, Xiaopeng Huitian has successfully signed contracts with nearly 60 flying car experience camps across the country, covering various scenarios such as flying camps, scenic spots, and urban areas.
