in the keynote speech session, professor hu jie, distinguished professor of shanghai jiao tong university and dean of the institute of innovation and design, gave a keynote speech titled "artificial intelligence driven design innovation empowers new productivity". hu jie first analyzed the background of the arrival of the artificial intelligence era, and reviewed the development process from industrialization to the intelligent era and the corresponding development process of innovative design. he pointed out that in the context of the intelligent era, the integration of artificial intelligence and innovative design has gone through two stages: "investigation + creation" or "learning + innovation". hu jie shared various forms of deep integration of artificial intelligence and innovative design at different stages of development, as well as industrial application cases of new technologies such as aigc and sora. he analyzed the paths and practical methods for technological innovation to empower new productive forces, and through a large number of practical cases and data, elaborated on the huge role of technological innovation in promoting economic development, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and improving social life.
