how are you guys going to spend the national day holiday? the old fox lives at home.
however, xiaomei, a late colleague of laohu, has been busy with one thing recently: preparing for a national day self-driving trip to attend a friend's wedding, and planning how to get there and back.
in the spirit of helping others, let colleagues feel safe(yi)heart(qi)superior(mo)class(yu)i decided to help her make a plan as soon as possible and give her a reference.
xiaomei’s requirements are as follows:
the key points in summary are: save money, have fun, and eat well.
xiaomei drives a new energy vehicle. sleeping in the car can save accommodation fees and leave room for laohu to make plans, so the goal is to control per capita consumption within 999 yuan.
after taking a look at the map, i saw that the shortest distance from guangzhou to hubei is through hunan. as a hunanese, lao hu knows very well how congested the roads in hunan are during holidays.
i would rather go around three hundred miles in hubei than three kilometers in hunan; sports cars are not afraid of yunnan, guizhou, and sichuan, but they are afraid of hunan. therefore, the plan given by laohu is “self-driving tour around hunan”.
the route to go requires picking up friends through jiangxi, and the route back passes through chongqing, guizhou and guangxi. the difficulty is how to choose scenic spots.
if you are not familiar with the routes and do not know the local attractions and food, planning well means piecing together a bunch of messy information into a complete route map.no wonder my colleagues are sorting out information when they go to work.
therefore, the first tool that comes to my mind is ai, which is the strength of ai in extracting information from the vast internet.
let me first state that this article is not accurate. you will see multiple ai tool applications, and the mentioned functions are all free and can be used by everyone. let’s see which “ai travel planner” is more suitable for this trip. mind.
let me talk about the idea. this journey is divided into two sections, from guangzhou to shiyan and from shiyan back to guangzhou.
the first leg is from guangzhou.departing on october 1st, considering that there may be traffic jams on the road, we will travel in southern jiangxi and rest for one night. we will arrive in jiujiang on the 2nd, depart for wuhan on the 3rd, visit the hubei museum in the afternoon, and then go to shiyan.
in general, you can submit a prompt including time, location and special requirements for ai to execute.
this requirement was submitted to doubao, wen xinyiyan, tongyi qianwen, kimi, and yuanbao respectively. among them, doubao and kimi understood the requirement better.
doubao set the no. 1 destination in jeonnam, and also provided local specialties and niche tourist attractions.
i went to jiujiang on the 2nd and recommended the de'an boyang river scenic area in jiujiang. since i still have to meet friends, i naturally have to "gather" them for a meal. this part can actually be ignored.
the journey from jiujiang to wuhan on the 3rd is relatively long. the plan given by doubao is to arrive in wuhan at noon, visit the hubei museum, taste local food, and then set off for shiyan.
in addition, the daily itinerary provides the distance and time, and the daily departure time can also be planned according to actual needs.
kimi gave other options, going to nanchang on the 1st, jiujiang on the 2nd, wuhan at noon on the 3rd, shiyan in the evening, and even travel destinations on the 4th. the tourist attractions he chose were also forest parks, museums and donglin temple. such a free spot.
tongyi qianwen chose ruijin as the destination for the first day, and after taking a long detour, his "sense of direction" was not as good as doubao and kimi's.
yuan bao was so playful that he even stopped to play in the morning from jiujiang to wuhan; wen xin was the most stubborn, choosing to rest in wuhan on the 3rd and arriving in shiyan on the 4th.
*yuanbao
*a word from wen xin
after comprehensive consideration, laohu chose the route guangzhou→quannan→jiujiang→wuhan→shiyan, and then used ai to recommend local stores suitable for check-in based on the route. here, kimi and bean bags still performed relatively well, the two ais mentioned the same restaurant - huang's restaurant in quannan (not the real name).
*Kimi
*bean bag
taking into account restaurants and attractions, we can give the following itinerary map no. 1-3.
the return trip is a bit more troublesome, starting from shiyan, passing through chongqing, guizhou, guangxi and then back to guangzhou. considering that the distance is quite long and in order to avoid too long driving time every day, the departure time is set for the afternoon of october 4th.
in this section of the road,in order to reduce fatigue, laohu set the driving distance as 500 kilometers, and entered the prompt as follows:
different ais extract different keywords in prompts. kimi, yuanbao and wen xinyiyan displayed "your request" and did not identify "driving distance not exceeding 500 kilometers" or "small city".
*from top to bottom: kimi, yuanbao, wen xinyiyan
the result is that in the given route plan, there are big cities, such as chongqing and guiyang, or the journey is too long.
doubao performed slightly better and identified "small cities", so the recommended destinations were fengjie, bijie, and baise. however, the distance did not meet the 500-kilometer requirement. the last section from baise to guangzhou reached 700 kilometers.

tongyi qianwen's plan is shiyan→chongqing/enshi→guiyang→liuzhou→guangzhou. judging from the route, the daily journey is about 500 kilometers, but it also ignores the small cities.
considering the exhaustion of traveling all the way and trying to keep the distance as short as possible, i need to write more articles on prompt. referring to the distance from guangzhou to shiyan, set an anchor point in eastern guizhou in the middle of the journey, or directly propose to take chongqing and cities and counties in eastern guizhou.
the route generated again is much more reasonable.
the route given by doubao is: shiyan → dianjiang, chongqing → tongren river estuary, guizhou → liuzhou, guangxi → guangzhou;
the route given by tongyi qianwen is:shiyan→lichuan, hubei→tongren, guizhou→guilin, guangxi→guangzhou.
(swipe to see the full text)
the remaining ai-generated results will still include zunyi and liupanshui, cities outside eastern guizhou, which will extend the travel distance.
taken together, the route "shiyan → lichuan, hubei → tongren river estuary in guizhou → liuzhou, guangxi → guangzhou" is more reasonable.
as for the unique and well-rated restaurants and free attractions in these places, it is naturally easy to get them.
finally, laohu created the following itinerary for reference to colleagues.
the above is the process of laohu using ai to create a 7-day national day self-driving tour route. compared with the traditional method that requires users to search and compare cities one by one and calculate distances, use ai tools to search the entire internet and add "free" or "cheap" keywords to the prompt to generate results in a simpler, more efficient, but not crude way.
in this result, only yaxi ancient village charges a fee for attractions, while the per capita consumption in restaurants is between 10-50 yuan. the per capita dining consumption for a 7-day trip can be controlled at around 600 yuan, and you can eat authentic food.
*donglin temple
taking into account the electricity cost of the pure tram, and even the hourly bathing room along the way, the per capita consumption of this trip can be controlled to 999 yuan based on the two people sharing the cost equally. what do you think of this plan?
of course, laohu does not recommend everyone to travel on such a budget, but just wants to demonstrate the information retrieval capabilities of ai in national day travel. however, ai is also "mentally retarded" in some aspects. for example, when kimi recommended local specialties in lichuan, hubei, there was only one hunan restaurant. in terms of itinerary planning, wen xinyiyan designed a 900-kilometer trip from tongren to guangzhou...
but it is undeniable that ai is helpful, just try to use it as much as possiblecompare information through multiple ai tools.
there is no doubt that ai has excellent capabilities in information search. it used to be used to summarize articles, write outlines, and generate pictures...it is used to save money on travel planning. most people may have never used many of these tools, so let’s try them out.maybe we don’t have the ability to make money with ai, but everyone knows that if we can save money, we will make money. national day travel, do you want to try ai?
