after the typhoon, baoshan ushered in a good time of wind and sunshine, and runners who love to run quickly switched to their familiar and happy mode. recently, the 2024 shanghai fourth citizens games "run baoshan" shanghai strongest running team competition and baoshan district fifth games road running competition were held at the baoshan sports center. nearly 400 runners from shanghai, jiangsu, zhejiang and other places competed on the same field, running an impressive journey in the continuous relay.
in the morning, the "run, baoshan" shanghai's strongest running team championship and baoshan district's fifth sports games road running competition opened in front of the big screen of baoshan sports center. as the leaders and guests at the meeting blew the whistle together, the runners took vigorous steps and set out on the journey under the bright sunshine, striving for the strength and honor of their respective running teams.
these runners are from major private running groups in shanghai, jiangsu and zhejiang, many of which are from baoshan, and there are also several overseas running groups participating in the competition. each group of participants consists of 3 to 5 people, and they complete 139 laps in the form of relays, which requires high endurance, willpower and teamwork of the athletes. on the track, the handover between teammates is also very particular. when approaching the relay area, the runner in the front baton adjusts his pace and speed, and the one waiting for the relay is fully focused, leaning forward slightly, ready to take the baton handed over by his teammates at any time. in the end, the "zhebao special attack" from zhejiang won the first place with 2 hours, 33 minutes and 55 seconds, and the "kuncheng lake running group uto dream chasing youth team" and the "kindergarten" team won the second and third places with 2 hours, 38 minutes and 36 seconds and 2 hours, 40 minutes and 15 seconds respectively.
the competition is guided by the organizing committee of the 4th shanghai citizens games, hosted by shanghai social sports management center, baoshan district sports bureau, baoshan district sports federation, and undertaken by shanghai junchi sports co., ltd. and baoshan district outdoor sports association.
