the reasons for the recall include: the wheel speed sensor housing material of some mercedes-benz cars is not moisture-proof enough. when the vehicle is used in a hot and humid environment for a long time, the wheel speed sensor may malfunction, causing the electronic body stability system to disable some functions (such as esp, abs, etc.); due to manufacturing process reasons, the oil filter housing of some land rover vehicles is not strong enough and may crack, causing oil leakage. if it comes into contact with high-temperature components, there is a risk of fire.

it is planned to recall some imported a-class, b-class, cla and gla vehicles with production dates between august 30, 2011 and april 3, 2019, totaling 241,861 vehicles, and some domestically produced gla vehicles with production dates between march 13, 2014 and october 12, 2019, totaling 281,233 vehicles, starting from november 27, 2024.

the oil filter housing of some land rover vehicles is not strong enough
starting from september 20, 2024, jaguar land rover (china) investment co., ltd. will recall some imported 2024 land rover discovery and range rover vehicles produced from november 29, 2023 to december 4, 2023, totaling 3 vehicles. jaguar land rover (ningbo) trading co., ltd. will recall some imported 2024 land rover defender vehicles produced from november 30, 2023 to december 17, 2023, totaling 3 vehicles.
reason for recall:due to the manufacturing process, the oil filter housing of some cars is not strong enough and may crack, causing oil leakage. if it comes into contact with high-temperature components, there is a risk of fire.
to solve this problem, jaguar land rover (china) investment co., ltd. and jaguar land rover (ningbo) trading co., ltd. will replace the oil filter housing, oil filter and o-ring for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
