since late august, chongqing has been experiencing continuous sunny and hot weather, and the power load has been rising steadily, and the power grid is facing severe challenges. state grid corporation of china insists on "one game" for the entire network, and coordinates the dispatch of mobile power vehicles from various regions to support chongqing in ensuring power supply. starting from august 28, the state grid hubei, hunan, anhui, and henan power responded quickly, urgently dispatched 180 elite forces and 50 mobile power vehicles, and traveled thousands of miles to help chongqing ensure power supply.
starting from august 30, after 50 mobile power supply vehicles arrived in chongqing and completed assembly, they rushed to 11 districts and counties including kaizhou, wanzhou, bishan, and tongnan, and were all connected to the grid at 18:00 on august 31, generating electricity during peak electricity consumption periods, participating in peak loads, and making every effort to ensure reliable electricity supply in various places.
it is understood that the mobile power vehicle is a vehicle-mounted mobile distributed power source that integrates a diesel generator, a 10kv high-voltage panel cabinet, and a flexible cable. these 50 mobile power vehicles can provide a maximum of 57,000 kilowatts of electricity, which can power 40,000 air conditioners at the same time. as of september 11, the 50 mobile power vehicles have served more than 170 communities, generating electricity for 635 hours, with a power generation of more than 390,000 kwh, benefiting more than 120,000 households, providing strong support for the power supply of chongqing power grid during peak hours.
