compared with last year, among the hubei enterprises that continued to be shortlisted for the "top 500 chinese enterprises in 2024" this year, 8 companies have risen in rankings, namely: hubei transportation investment group co., ltd. rose 121 places, wuhan financial holding (group) co., ltd. rose 82 places, hubei liantou group co., ltd. rose 40 places, jinao technology (hubei) chemical co., ltd. rose 34 places, wuhan urban construction group co., ltd. rose 15 places, yichang xingfa group co., ltd. rose 11 places, zhuoer holding co., ltd. rose 10 places, and jiuzhoutong pharmaceutical group co., ltd. rose 8 places.

in addition, the new hubei company on the list this year is hubei culture and tourism group co., ltd., while hubei yihua group co., ltd., which was on the list last year, has dropped out of the list. the total number of hubei companies on the list this year is the same as last year.

what is remarkable is that hubei transportation investment group co., ltd. has made the biggest improvement in the list of "china's top 500 enterprises in 2024". the company has been on the list since 2022, and its ranking has jumped from 412th in that year to 360th in 2023, and then to 239th in 2024, a significant jump of 173 places in three years; hubei liantou group co., ltd. has been ranked first among the provincial (municipal) state-owned enterprises in the province that have entered the top 500 chinese enterprises for the third time. hubei culture and tourism group co., ltd. is a large state-owned enterprise and tourism leading enterprise in hubei province, and has become a new force for provincial state-owned enterprises to enter the top 500 chinese enterprises.

according to the list, the operating revenue of the top 500 chinese enterprises in 2024 will exceed 110 trillion yuan, reaching 110.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.58% compared with the previous year; the entry threshold of the top 500 chinese enterprises in 2024 will reach 47.381 billion yuan, an increase of 383 million yuan, achieving 22 consecutive increases; among the top 500 chinese enterprises in 2024, the number of enterprises with operating revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan is 253, accounting for more than 50%, and 16 enterprises have operating revenue exceeding 1 trillion yuan.
