On August 27, a reporter from The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) learned from the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade that the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the 21st Shanghai Auto Show) will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from April 25 to May 2, 2025.
As Chinese cars are better positioned on the world stage, the Shanghai Auto Show, which has been around for 40 years, will start again as a world-class auto show. The theme of the 21st Shanghai Auto Show is "Embrace Innovation, Win-Win Future", and the exhibition area is expected to reach 360,000 square meters. In the exhibition schedule, April 23 and 24, 2025 will be media days, only receiving domestic and foreign news media; April 25 to 26 will be professional audience days, and April 27 to May 2 will be public days.
In addition, on April 22, 2025, the organizer will also hold the 2025 Global Automotive Leaders Closed-Door Summit at the InterContinental Shanghai Hotel in the National Exhibition and Convention Center, inviting leaders from national ministries, Shanghai and relevant government departments, industry organizations, and global automotive, technology and related fields to discuss the current situation, development and future of the global automotive industry.
