The development process of the H-20 bomber seems to be full of mystery, especially since the official news was released many years ago, but because the real machine has never been seen, many people think that the H-20 project may have been discontinued. In fact, as Ms. Yu Min said, we must have a new generation of bombers. Both domestic military experts and foreign professional institutions believe that the People's Liberation Army will definitely develop a strategic bomber code-named "H-20" because the People's Liberation Army needs a large-scale strike platform that can efficiently perform long-range raids and strategic assaults. Although the current H-6K and its improved versions are good, because they are the foundation of medium-sized bombers, they usually choose between range combat radius and ammunition mount in the choice of mission strike mode. If you want to strike efficiently, the fuel load factor must give way to the bomb load, which directly affects the combat radius. But if you choose the combat radius, the bomb load will be affected.

At present, the focus of the Chinese Air Force is still on the assault and destruction of important enemy targets within the theater of operations. This situation is based on our overall military strength and needs. Under such circumstances, the Chinese Air Force urgently needs a strategic bomber that can be used flexibly.
