Wang Yihang, a sophomore student, won the gold medal in the National Final of the Biology Olympiad. He said: "Now, my competition journey has come to a successful conclusion. I should thank the many people who have helped me and Suzhou Middle School for being such an excellent growth platform for me to finally stand on the podium after many tests. I would like to thank teachers Li and Gu for their careful guidance; thank class teachers Shao and Shen for their care and encouragement; thank teachers of various subjects for their hard work; thank school leaders for their careful arrangements; thank classmates for their help and inspiration; thank all partners in the student competition study group for their mutual encouragement. 'No matter how high the mountain is, you can always reach the top by climbing up; no matter how long the road is, you can definitely reach the destination by walking on it.' As students of Suzhou Middle School, we will always have dreams, take firm steps, and create greater glory!"
Senior high school student Lv Pinchen won the silver medal in the National Finals of the Biology Olympiad. Lv Pinchen said: "During the training period, a white-haired old professor told me that the medal was just a by-product. Indeed, in addition to biological knowledge, I learned a lot of things. For example, how to take care of myself and not let my parents worry; how to make plans and complete tasks on time; how to scientifically verify problems; how to improve learning efficiency; how to communicate with all parties, etc. I have always believed that in addition to the role of competition in academic advancement, its role in training people's minds cannot be ignored. So, although I regret my results, I do not regret joining the competition and taking this journey."
Senior high school students Feng Yuhan and Li Jiarui won silver medals in the National Finals of the Biology Olympiad. "Time flies, and the competition has come to an end before I know it. Although there are regrets this time, there are more gains. Looking back on the days of preparation, every night of the lights was filled with sweat and sweetness. The journey of participating in the biology competition is not only an exploration of knowledge, but also a spiritual baptism and a leap in growth. Here, I would like to thank my coach, Mr. Li Xiaocong, for not only teaching me professional knowledge, but also giving me the opportunity to open the door to explore life sciences. I would also like to thank my teammates, because of you, I have more courage and persistence. I believe that as long as we have dreams in our hearts and keep our feet on the ground, we can all find our own light." Feng Yuhan said.
Li Jiarui said: "In fact, I joined the biology competition by chance, but I ended up studying for two years. The competition learning time was not long, but it covered many branches of life sciences, from a protein molecule to the entire ecosystem. What I see before my eyes is often new knowledge that I have never seen before. This kind of joy was unimaginable before. At the same time, it also made me want to enter the field of life sciences. In addition, I would like to thank my coach Mr. Li, as well as my teachers and relatives and friends. Every step I take is inseparable from their efforts."
