IT Home reported on August 26 that Lantu Motors officially announced today that the first Lantu Zhiyin rolled off the production line on the morning of August 26. The rollout of both domestic and global vehicles marks the acceleration of Lantu Zhiyin's launch. Lantu Zhiyin will start pre-sale at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show on August 30.

The Lantu Zhiyin pure electric SUV is built on the ESSA intelligent electric architecture and the full-range 800-volt silicon carbide platform. It offers two front face designs and a CLTC operating range of up to 901 kilometers.

IT Home learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the declared information shows that the length, width and height of Lantu Zhiyin are 4725x1900x1636 (1653) mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It is available in single-motor and dual-motor versions, equipped with 77/109kWh battery packs respectively. The single-motor model equipped with a 77kWh battery has a CLTC range of 625 kilometers, and the dual-motor four-wheel drive model has a CLTC range of 570 kilometers; and the single-motor model equipped with a 109kWh ultra-long-range CLTC has a range of up to 901 kilometers.

The car adopts a dual front face design, including a through type that tends to be dynamic and passionate, and a closed type that tends to be stable; the front face has a slender LED light group, the side lines of the body are simple, there are "Z"-shaped lines at the bottom, the rear wheels are raised outward, and are equipped with hidden door handles and side rear-facing cameras.

In terms of interior, the Lantu Zhiyin is equipped with the popular floating rectangular central control screen. Unlike conventional models, this screen can be moved according to different usage scenarios of the driver and the co-driver. The front row of the car is also equipped with conventional configurations such as mobile phone wireless charging device, cup holder, storage box, etc., and the back row has 969 mm of legroom.
