On August 24, the Defense Visualization Information Service (DVIDS) website under the U.S. Department of Defense published a picture of three U.S. Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in the same frame.

The DVIDS website said that the three aircraft carriers in the picture are the USS Truman, USS Eisenhower and USS Ford, which are carrying out an "arms transfer" mission in the Atlantic Ocean. Also sailing with them is the Lewis and Clark class dry cargo supply ship USS William McLean (T-AKE 12), and the "arms transfer" mission is being carried out between these four warships.

On the same day, the USS Truman also conducted a pre-deployment comprehensive training exercise (COMPTUEX) in the Atlantic. According to a previous report by the US Naval Institute (USNI) website, the USS Truman was originally scheduled to go to the Middle East to replace the USS Eisenhower, but has been delayed.

According to public information, the USS Eisenhower evacuated from the Red Sea and returned home in late June and is currently in the standby stage after deployment; the USS Ford is in the preparation stage after maintenance.
