IT Home reported on August 24 that the automotive media carscoops published a blog post today (August 24), sharing road test photos of the 2026 Audi Q5 Sportback coupe SUV.

The road test photos of the Q5 Sportback exposed this time show that the whole body is covered with camouflage film. Its front face design is the same as the early Q5 models, with radical LED headlights, honeycomb grille and dynamic bumper air intakes.

However, Audi redesigned the sloping roofline and rear section to make it look different, and the small wheels and basic taillights hint at this being a lower-end model.

Like its predecessor, the new Q5 Sportback has a steeply raked rear glass covered by a roof spoiler, and new taillights are positioned higher than before and connected above the license plate.

The new Q5 Sportback and Q5 will share the same interior, using Audi's latest digital cockpit.IT Home attaches the relevant interior conditions as follows:

11.9-inch digital instrument cluster

14.5-inch infotainment display

An optional 10.9-inch passenger screen is available.

Both the Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback will adopt the new PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) architecture, which is not a uniform design but an upgraded version of the MLB Evo (Modular Longitudinal Matrix).

Judging from the charging port, the prototype is likely to adopt a plug-in hybrid setup. It will be equipped with a mildly electrified version of the 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder engine, and in the European market it will also be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine. All engines use Audi's latest 48V MHEV Plus system.
