This summer, 106 schools in Haikou regularly open swimming pools, basketball courts, volleyball courts, badminton courts, athletic fields and other sports venues to young students (including students from outside the province) for free. Recently, students from Qiongshan Overseas Chinese Middle School in Haikou reported that there are 8 badminton courts in the school gymnasium, and some of the badminton courts have raised and cracked floors, which makes it easy for students to fall when running, posing certain safety hazards.
Parts of the floor are raised and cracked.
According to students, the school's badminton court floor was bulging and cracking last semester, but the problem was not solved after reporting it to the school. In addition, some of the fans in the gymnasium were damaged, making it very hot and stuffy to play in the stadium in the summer. They hope that the school can repair or replace them in time.
Recently, the principal of Qiongshan Huaqiao Middle School in Haikou City was a guest on the "Coconut City Correction" program and said that the school attaches great importance to the problems raised by the students and has arranged staff to check the relevant facilities of the whole school to eliminate the safety hazards as soon as possible. At present, the school will initiate the project and strive to solve these problems before the start of school. (Reporter Su Zhongwen/Photo)
