On the morning of August 16, the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone 2024 "Optical Valley Made" series of activities - a special event for power product supply and demand docking was successfully held at the power supply company of the zone. The event attracted more than 50 representatives from well-known power companies and small and medium-sized supporting enterprises from inside and outside the zone.

In this supply-demand matchmaking meeting, the suppliers are power equipment product R&D and manufacturing companies, and companies that provide new energy photovoltaic storage, virtual power plants, equipment operation and maintenance services, while the demand-side companies are power project general contractors, power users, etc. The two parties jointly built the power-related industrial chain of the East Lake High-tech Development Zone.

Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone Power Supply Company introduced the basic situation of the rapid economic and social development and the growth of electricity demand in Optics Valley. "Dongxin Power Supply Company is both a demander and a supplier in the power-related industrial chain, especially in building a strong distribution network in East Lake High-tech Zone, improving the automation and digitalization level of power equipment, building a virtual power plant platform, and building a more robust and efficient Internet of Vehicles system." The company representative said that the company also hopes to use electricity as a medium, energy Internet, and new power systems as a circle of friends to build a better power development ecology with all corporate friends.

Luo Sihang, director of Wuhan Optics Valley Central City Construction Investment Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech entitled "Research on Investment and Operation Opportunities of Super Charging Stations in East Lake High-tech Zone".

It is understood that in recent years, as new energy vehicle users have an increasing demand for fast energy replenishment, Optics Valley will be laid out around population centers, job centers, business and service centers, transportation corridors, and power facilities in the future to improve the new energy vehicle charging infrastructure system, build a "1-kilometer supercharging circle", make charging as convenient as refueling, and build Wuhan New City into a "supercharging city".

In the solution supply promotion session, companies such as Yangtze River Electric, Wuhan Fenghuo Fuhua Electric, Wuhan Xingtu Xinke Electronics, Hubei Top Electric Power, and Hubei Keneng Electric Power gave detailed introductions on the technical advantages and market prospects of solutions in areas such as enabling smart grid video communication construction, intelligent distribution system development, and power system software research and development.

Afterwards, representatives of participating companies conducted in-depth communication and negotiation on the supply and demand of power products. Many companies reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the spot and expressed their willingness to further strengthen follow-up docking and cooperation. Among them, the "green electricity" of photovoltaic projects, as a policy-oriented technology, has attracted widespread attention from companies.
