According to Russia Today (RT) on the 15th, a senior adviser to Ukrainian President Zelensky admitted to the media that Ukraine had discussed plans for the Ukrainian army to launch a cross-border attack on Russian territory with its Western supporters.
The report mentioned that some Western countries, including the United States, denied knowing about the Ukrainian army's offensive plan in advance. Officials from these Western countries insisted that they supported the Ukrainian army's actions but denied knowing about it in advance.

The British Independent reported on the 15th that Zelensky’s senior aide Mihaylo Podolyak said that such statements by Western officials were not accurate.
“Some things have to be done unexpectedly and have to be done at a local level,” he told the newspaper in an interview, “but there have been discussions among partner militaries, just not at a public level.”
The Ukrainian official reiterated his previous explanation of the Ukrainian army's cross-border operation on a Ukrainian national television program, saying that the Ukrainian army's goal was to create a military "coercion" effect on the Russian people.
"When the war spreads to Russian territory, they will certainly be scared. They will be shocked. This will have a significant impact on the psychological state of the Russian masses," he told The Independent.
RT reported that Russian officials said that the Ukrainian army's cross-border attack on civilians in Kursk Oblast, Russia, has killed any chance of peace talks between the two sides. At the same time, Ukrainian officials claimed that such actions by the Ukrainian army have brought the situation closer to the goal of peace talks.
In an interview with British media, Podolak also urged the British government to allow Ukraine to use long-range Storm Shadow missiles provided by Britain to attack Russian territory. If Ukraine launches such an attack, "Russia will realize that the cost of war is too high," he said.
According to reports, a spokesman for the British Ministry of Defense said on the 15th that Britain allows Ukrainian troops to use any weapons provided by Britain on Russian territory, except for this cruise missile, which is jointly manufactured by Britain and France.
RT reported that Russia had warned that if any Western weapons were used to attack deep into Russia, Russia would provide similar capabilities to forces in other parts of the world that used similar weapons to attack Western military assets. Russia believes that Ukraine's military strategy in Russia is to implement "terrorism." Russian officials also pointed out that by providing weapons to Ukraine, Western countries are responsible for the atrocities committed by the Ukrainian army.
