Today (August 16), the national key oil and gas infrastructure project -The gas supply from Changle to Fuding section of the Haixi natural gas pipeline network was put into operation, achieving a "zero breakthrough" in pipeline natural gas in the eastern Fujian region and further expanding the coverage of pipeline natural gas in Fujian Province.

The Changle to Fuding section of the Haixi natural gas pipeline network starts from the Yingqian substation in Changle, Fuzhou, and ends at the Fuding terminal in Ningde, passing through 8 districts and counties in Fuzhou and Ningde. The total length of the line is 249.82 kilometers. This pipeline network with a design pressure of 7.5 MPa is equipped with 8 substations and 7 valve chambers along the line, with an annual gas transmission capacity of more than 1.3 billion cubic meters.

At present, the total mileage of Fujian's main natural gas pipelines exceeds 1,400 kilometers, and has achieved full coverage of coastal cities and prefectures, basically forming an energy supply pattern of mutual protection and mutual supply of multiple gas sources on land and sea and interconnection of multiple pipelines. It is estimated that by 2030, the new natural gas pipelines will exceed 1,700 kilometers, and the peak-shaving capacity of the natural gas pipeline network will be further improved.
