On August 14, reporters learned from a press conference held by the Provincial Government Information Office that the 2024 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week (hereinafter referred to as "2024 Exchange Week"), co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province, will be held from August 20 to August 25 this year at the permanent venue of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week in Gui'an New District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The theme of the 2024 Exchange Week is: "Deepen educational cooperation, promote cultural exchanges, and work together to create a better future."
The 2024 Exchange Week will focus on showcasing new achievements in China-ASEAN educational exchanges and cooperation, further deepen the connotation of the Exchange Week, expand the extension of humanities projects, and deeply promote the "'Education +' Innovation Model" and "Using Learning and Research to Promote Production". Exchange and share the experiences and achievements of both sides in the fields of higher education, vocational education, basic education, special education, lifelong education, etc., so as to better play the role of the Exchange Week in serving cultural exchanges, deepening educational cooperation, and promoting regional economic and social development.
During the opening period, 40 parallel project activities will be held, including the "China-ASEAN University Technology Achievement Transformation Recommendation Conference", to promote the signing of various cooperation agreements (memorandums), the establishment of various cooperation alliances (centers), cooperation mechanisms, the joint construction of scientific research cooperation platforms (topics), overseas colleges and training bases, and various skill competitions, release of academic and application results, and the joint construction and sharing of teaching resources.
