Beijing News (Reporter Peng Jingtao) Beijing News reporter learned that at around 5 pm on August 12, outside the north gate of Anxin Home Community in Chengshousi Street, Fengtai District, Beijing, a girl's right foot was stuck between the bracket and spokes of the front wheel of a shared bicycle. This was caused by the parents installing a "child seat" on the shared bicycle. Fangzhuang Special Service Station immediately went to the scene for rescue after receiving the dispatch of the General Team.

After the firefighters arrived at the scene, they learned that the girl's parents used a shared bicycle "child seat" when riding with her, which is a small wooden board installed between the seat and the handlebars. As soon as she left the community gate, the girl's right foot got stuck accidentally, and she kept crying because of the pain.
Afterwards, the firefighters comforted the girl while using shears to remove the girl's foot. As the girl's foot was stuck tightly, one firefighter held the bicycle to prevent the front wheel from rotating and causing secondary injury to the girl, while another firefighter used pliers and a small circular saw to remove the girl's foot. After 3 minutes, the girl's right foot was freed and she was taken to a nearby hospital by her parents for further examination.
The Fengtai District Fire Rescue Brigade reminds that when using shared bicycles, do not add any equipment without permission to avoid accidents. If your limbs get stuck, do not pull them hard to avoid secondary injuries.
