Xinmin Evening News (Reporter Xu Chi) During the morning rush hour the day before yesterday, a heartwarming scene occurred at Wuwei East Road Station on Metro Line 15: Xiao Wu, a college student who came to Shanghai to visit relatives, suddenly suffered from heatstroke and fainted on the platform. Her condition was critical. Thanks to the help of the station staff and enthusiastic citizens, she was sent to the hospital in time for treatment and was finally saved.
Multifunctional team leader Pan Jing recalled, "At around 8 o'clock in the morning, I saw a lot of people gathered on the platform and realized that something was wrong. I rushed over and saw that a young girl had fainted." An enthusiastic citizen told her that the girl was carrying a schoolbag and a trolley case in her hands, and suddenly collapsed to the ground while waiting for the bus.
Several enthusiastic citizens and Pan Jing helped the girl to the waiting chair. She was sweating and her face was flushed, showing obvious symptoms of heat stroke. The staff took out a towel to give her a cold compress and found Huoxiang Zhengqi water to help her cool down. However, the girl's physical condition did not improve. Pan Jing did not hesitate and immediately called 120.
Not long after, rescue workers arrived at the scene and helped lift the girl onto a stretcher and sent her to a nearby hospital. After treatment, the girl is no longer in danger of death.
