He said that the Qassam Brigades were treating the two wounded and that the Israeli government was responsible for the "massacre" committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the resulting impact on the lives of Israeli detainees.

The statement said a committee has been set up to investigate the full details of the two incidents and the findings will be announced in due course.It was reported that this was the first time that the Qassam Brigades said its fighters had killed Israeli detainees.
