August 13,Faraday Future (FFIE, stock price $0.213, market value $94.046 million) announced on social media the delivery of the 13th FF 91 2.0 car.
Gao Wei, a senior FF employee and head of global communications and community sales, has become the latest owner of the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance. This is the second FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance delivered recently since the restart of the second phase of delivery (SOD2).
FF said that before joining FF, Gao Wei had more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry and media.
It is worth noting that FF delivered its last car two months ago.
On June 13, FF announced the completion of the delivery of a new car to a senior individual investor user. This is the 12th FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance delivered by FF since mass production and delivery in 2023, and it is also the first delivery completed after FF's delivery work was suspended for 4 months."Due to lack of funds and inability to purchase spare parts, we have not delivered new cars for four months." Jia Yueting admitted that the restart of SOD2 may be a very small thing for many mature companies, but for FF at this stage it is a very important milestone, and may even be a turning point.
According to FF's global CEO Matthias Aydt, before completing the financing from strategic investors, as long as the funds for the required parts can be raised,FF will strive to deliver one new car every month.
On the same day, Jia Yueting said:FF is considering launching a second brand under the "China-US Automotive Industry Bridge Strategy", which will empower FF's high-value solutions and functions in future mass-market products.Let more individual investors enjoy our luxury technology."
Public information shows that in 2014, Jia Yueting started his "car-making dream" and founded Faraday Future. In January 2017, FF released its first mass-produced car, the FF 91. But six months later, in June 2017, LeEco's financial crisis broke out, and Jia Yueting boarded a plane to the United States, and has since been teased by the public that he will "return to China next week."
According to Blue Whale News, on May 31, 2023, Jia Yueting announced that the FF 91 2.0 Futurist ALLIance will be priced at US$309,000 (approximately RMB 2.2 million) and is limited to 300 units worldwide.
According to official data from FF Automobile, FF Automobile will deliver a total of 10 FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliances in 2023. On February 7, 2024, FF Automobile announced the delivery of another FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance.
Including the two cars delivered in June and today, Jia Yueting has delivered 13 cars in his 10 years of car manufacturing.
