Today, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the first batch of social security service cooperation outlets in the city was held in Fengtai District. Five bank branches were set up as "social security service cooperation outlets" and the new "social security and bank cooperation" service model was launched on a trial basis. The five bank branches can handle 41 high-frequency, low-risk social security businesses, providing faster and more convenient services for businesses and the public.

The newly opened social insurance service area has two manual windows and one online service window.

"From the perspective of time and process, this way of handling business is much more convenient." Mr. Bi told reporters that he lives nearby and came to handle the business of changing the personal social security information of his company's employees. In the past, the same business had to be handled at the Fengtai Social Security Center in the Dahongmen area, which took at least 30 minutes to drive there. After hearing that the bank branch had opened social security handling services, Mr. Bi came here to try it out today. "It took me less than 10 minutes to walk here, which saved me a lot of time on the way there and back. Moreover, my business can indeed be handled here, and the staff are very professional and it was done quickly."

Social security business is closely related to the lives of citizens. In order to meet the people's service needs of "handling things nearby" and "handling things at multiple locations", the Beijing Social Security Center comprehensively assesses factors such as the frequency of services provided by insured persons, the types of services provided, and the level of risk, and makes full use of the characteristics of the bank's numerous and wide-ranging grassroots outlets to open up social security service areas within the outlets and set up special service windows in pilot banks.

The reporter learned that the social security business of this "social security-bank cooperation" mainly covers 41 common social security business items in six categories, including social insurance personal rights and interests record query and printing, flexible employment personnel insurance registration, qualification certification, retiree transfer, and social security card application. Enterprises and the public can handle social security business nearby at five outlets, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Beijing Lize Financial Business District Branch, Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Beijing Fengtai Branch, Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. Beijing Fengtai District Fangzhuang Branch, Beijing Rural Commercial Bank Changxindian Branch, and China Construction Bank Beijing Fengtai Branch.

The bank outlets carrying out the pilot service accept social security business through three channels: counter service, machine service, and self-service, ensuring that the social security services handled by the bank are "of the same standard and without distinction". The social security agency has carried out "social security and bank cooperation" training for bank outlets around policy regulations, operating specifications, service standards, etc., and all five outlets have arranged special personnel to provide offline assistance and business consulting services for social security. Among the 41 businesses, for those that are handled immediately, bank outlets can directly handle them or guide them to handle them online, realizing the same handling as the social security hall; for matters that require review by the handling department, bank staff will collect materials on behalf of the bank and handle the entire process through online business collaboration.
