As of August 12, Daxing Airport has served a total of 30,089,800 inbound and outbound passengers in 2024, an increase of 31.85% over the same period last year, and broke the 30 million passenger mark 60 days ahead of schedule.
Among them, Daxing Airport carried out a total of 1,083 flights on August 10, serving approximately 180,000 passengers arriving and departing. The number of flights and passengers per day both set records since its operation.
With the gradual expansion of China's visa-free "circle of friends" and the continuous advancement of measures to facilitate foreign travelers, the number of passengers entering and leaving Daxing Airport has continued to grow. As of August 12, the cumulative international and regional passenger throughput exceeded 2.7 million. This year, about 280,000 foreigners entered through the Daxing Airport port, more than 100,000 people entered without a visa, and more than 18,000 foreigners enjoyed the convenience of the 144-hour transit visa-free policy at the port.
At present, a total of 65 domestic, international and regional airlines have settled in Daxing Airport, operating a total of 190 domestic and international routes, reaching 180 destinations and 21 countries around the world. Since Daxing Airport officially resumed international and regional flights on January 17, 2023, more than 40 international and regional routes have been opened, directly connecting to Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, London, Moscow, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Hong Kong, Macau and other destinations.
In addition, Daxing Airport recently launched electronic boarding pass services for international and regional flights, and Caoqiao City Terminal started international check-in and baggage handling services for China Southern Airlines and British Airways. China Eastern Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines will also launch this service in the future.
