It is reported that the Qinghai-Tibet Group Company, on the basis of operating 6 pairs of scheduled passenger trains in and out of Tibet, has successively organized the operation of 3 pairs of temporary passenger trains, and the total number of passenger trains in and out of Tibet has reached a historical high of 9 pairs; 1 pair of temporary EMU trains will be operated between Xining and Lanzhou West and between Xining and Urumqi; on the basis of operating 3 pairs of scheduled EMU trains between Lhasa and Shigatse, 2 pairs of peak-hour EMU trains will be arranged, and the capacity between Lhasa and Nyingchi will be increased by increasing the train formation; at the same time, 1 pair of temporary passenger trains will be operated in the direction of Chaka Salt Lake, the "Mirror in the Sky", a popular tourist attraction in Qinghai.
