Recently, the opening ceremony of the China-Russia student summer camp exchange activity was held at the "Overseas Chinese Home" of Guangya School in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. The study group from Zhiyi School in St. Petersburg, Russia will start a 12-day study tour in Chengdu.

Liu Quansheng, President of the Sichuan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, relevant leaders from the United Front Work Department of the Dujiangyan Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, as well as AIDI, principal of the Zhiyi School in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Qing Guangya, principal of the Dujiangyan Guangya School, attended the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was kicked off by a wonderful Tai Chi performance. The performers were dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, and their movements were smooth and graceful, just like a vivid Chinese ink painting. At the opening ceremony, students from both countries performed talent shows combining their respective traditional cultures, showing the youthful demeanor of young students. During the exchange session, Chinese and Russian teachers and students had friendly interactions, deepening their understanding and friendship through dialogue.
"Although we are thousands of miles apart, the bridge of cultural exchange connects us." Qing Guangya said that this summer camp is a practical action taken by the school to promote exchanges and development between young Chinese and Russian students.
