During the summer vacation, many passengers want to bring their pets on the train, but recently the Shenzhen Railway Public Security Bureau Humen Station Police Station found two passengers carrying small animals on the train at the station security checkpoint. The railway police would like to remind you that according to the relevant provisions of the "Catalogue of Prohibited, Restricted and Checked Items for Railway Passengers", except for guide dogs with complete documents, no live animals can be brought on the high-speed train.
On August 9, at the south security checkpoint of Humen Station, a little boy in white caught the attention of the police. When the security inspector asked him to open his umbrella for inspection, he found a little hamster hidden in the umbrella. The little boy said that he wanted to take the hamster back to his hometown, so he came up with the idea of secretly bringing it on the high-speed train, but he didn't expect to be discovered before he got on the train. With the comfort and education of the police and security inspectors, the little boy accepted the fact that he could not bring his pet hamster on the high-speed train, and his relatives took the hamster away to take care of it.
A similar incident happened on August 10, when a woman carrying a large foam box on the train again attracted the attention of the police. After opening the box, the police found that there were nearly 30 small turtles peeking out of their heads. After questioning, it was learned that the woman was selling small turtles at a stall and was going to take the unsold small turtles back to her hometown to raise them. The police and security inspectors then patiently explained the railway security regulations to her, and the woman eventually gave up the idea and contacted her friends to take the small turtles away.
Shenzhen Railway Police hereby reminds passengers to check their luggage in advance according to the "List of Prohibited, Restricted and Checked Items for Railway Passengers" to prevent unnecessary trouble caused by illegal items. If you really need to travel with small animals, you can choose other travel methods. We hope that everyone can abide by the relevant regulations and jointly maintain a good riding environment.
