CNN said that the Trump campaign played "My Heart Will Go On" at multiple campaign rallies in 2023 and 2024. Celine Dion issued a statement on the 10th saying that she and her team did not realize that the song was used in this way until recently. The statement also specifically mentioned that Trump also played the song at a campaign rally in Bozeman, Montana, USA on Friday (9th).

"Today, Celine Dion's management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada, were informed of the unauthorized use of Celine Dion's video, recording, musical performance and likeness of 'My Heart Will Go On' at a campaign rally in Montana by Donald Trump and James Vance," Dion said in a statement on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

"This action is unauthorized and Celine Dion does not support this or any similar action," she said in a statement, asking, "Seriously, use this song?"

The report also mentioned that Rihanna, the Rolling Stones, Queen and many other musicians had previously opposed Trump's campaign's use of their music when he ran for president in 2016.

Celine Dion, who has been battling illness for many years, made her last public appearance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on July 26, where she sang the famous French song "Ode to Love."
