The "Freeze Romantic Moments and Cultivate New Civilization Style - 'They Can Become' Qixi Festival Hand-in-Hand Theme Event" was held on the day of Qixi Festival. About 200 outstanding single young people from central government agencies, troops stationed in Beijing, science and technology, education, medical and other industries actively participated and jointly started a romantic Qixi Festival hand-in-hand journey.
The event is divided into four chapters: "Responsibility and Commitment of Love", "Sweetness and Challenges of Newly Married Life", "Aspirations and Explorations of Single Life", and "Most Beautiful Messages and Blessings", which warmly tell the happy stories of lovers and the inheritance of the "most beautiful" family tradition. Among them, the soldiers and nurses who were married from doctors to patients told the details of their acquaintance, companionship and support for each other; the young couples who had just entered the marriage hall shared the "ups and downs" of their marriage; and the single young men and women, with their yearning for love, showed their respective views on love and family.
The event also specially invited Miao Xiaohong, the second batch of female pilots in New China and a "hardcore grandma", to tell her love story. After retiring, 82-year-old Miao Xiaohong has always yearned for flying, so she flew into the blue sky again on the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. Miao Xiaohong and her lover He Xiaoming met at work. At that time, Miao Xiaohong was in the flight squadron and He Xiaoming was in the maintenance squadron. Because there was no library in the army, Miao Xiaohong borrowed a book "Notes of a Female Navigator" from He Xiaoming. He Xiaoming, who never lent books to others, made an exception and lent her the book, and the two became acquainted. Since entering the marriage hall, the two have always supported each other, tolerated each other, and relied on each other. Miao Xiaohong said: "I can go back to the blue sky, thanks to many things, but the most important thing is to thank my old partner." She also told the young friends at the scene: "Don't think about finding a perfect person when looking for a partner, just find someone who shares the same ideals and common pursuits as you."
The atmosphere at the event was lively. In addition to the touching story sharing, the carefully designed interactive games also immersed the guests in the atmosphere of the Chinese Valentine's Day. In the "Flying Flower Order" session, beautiful poems intertwined in the air, conveying the ancients' praise and yearning for love; in the "Meeting on the Magpie Bridge and Moving Forward Together" game, male and female guests worked together to enhance their mutual understanding and trust; and the "Interpretation of Traditional Love Stories" allowed everyone to personally experience the charm of love and deeply understand the true meaning of love.
During the game, the single young people gradually opened up their hearts and chatted happily, and the scene was full of excitement. The final "love confession" session pushed the event to a climax, and the young people on the scene expressed their love to their favorite objects.
The event also set up a wedding culture display area to showcase the development process of traditional and modern wedding customs, and further advocate the marriage and family concept of "standing together through thick and thin, supporting each other, shouldering responsibilities, and respecting and loving each other."
The event was hosted by Beijing Women's Federation and Beijing Radio and Television Station, and co-organized by Beijing Women and Children Service Center and Beijing Xicheng District Women's Federation.
