The launching ceremony of the "Serbian Youth China Tour" was held at the Serbia Building on the same day. Serbian Education Minister Djukic-Dejanovic, Minister of Tourism and Youth Memić and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming attended the ceremony.
Vucic said that China is a great country with an ancient civilization and rapid modernization. This trip to China is a rare opportunity for Serbian youth, which will help them gain a deeper understanding of China.
Vucic said that China and Serbia are ironclad friends and cooperation with China is very important to Serbia. After the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement came into effect in July this year, the practical economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is accelerating.
Li Ming said that according to the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, 300 Serbian youths will be invited to study and exchange in China in the next three years. He hoped that Serbian youths would pass on the baton of the ironclad friendship between China and Serbia, understand China more comprehensively through this visit to China, tell the story of China-Serbia friendship well, and become messengers for building a community with a shared future for the two countries.
The "Serbian Youth Tour to China" event invited 100 Serbian young people to visit China for short-term cultural exchanges, aiming to allow them to experience China's long history and culture and achievements of modernization, and to strengthen exchanges and interactions.
