On August 8, at the 3rd Suqian Talent Development Conference, Suqian Preschool Teachers College was officially unveiled.

Suqian Preschool Teachers College was established in April 2024 with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in May 2024. It is the only full-time public college at the junior college level in Suqian.

The school originated from Suqian County Normal School founded in 1956. It started to offer preschool education major in 1997. From 2012 to 2015, it undertook the task of training four batches of Suqian City-oriented preschool normal students and three batches of Jiangsu Province-oriented male preschool teachers. The school adheres to the school motto of "Advancing Morality and Learning", firmly grasps the development direction of teacher education, and takes serving basic education as its own responsibility. It has trained more than 20,000 primary and preschool teachers and a group of subject leaders, famous teachers, famous kindergarten principals, and famous principals, and has made outstanding contributions to local economic and social development, especially the training of basic education talents.

The school is adjacent to Luoma Lake in the west and Santaishan National Forest Park in the east. The school covers an area of ​​367 mu and has a building area of ​​120,000 square meters, including 67,000 square meters of teaching, experimental and administrative buildings, and teaching equipment with a total value of 33.47 million yuan. The school has 259,000 paper books, 300,000 electronic books, 57 professional training rooms on campus, and 78 off-campus internship and training bases.

The school currently has 230 faculty and staff, including 206 full-time teachers, 79 teachers with associate senior professional and technical titles or above, and 102 teachers with master's degrees or above. The school offers five three-year junior college majors starting from high school: preschool education, early education, music education, art education, and infant childcare services and management.
