In the production workshop of Shandong Yunyu Machinery Group Co., Ltd., welders are carrying out preparations before work. What is different from the past is that a code must be scanned for verification before the welding machine can be operated.
"Now that the electric welding machine is equipped with a chip, only people with a welder certificate can scan the code to start the machine. This can effectively put an end to the phenomenon of unlicensed operation and greatly prevent safety hazards and accidents caused by illegal fire operations in electric welding. It also helps us improve the company's safety management level." Wang Bin, director of the Safety Office of Shandong Yunyu Machinery Group Co., Ltd., said.
At present, all 1,415 welding machines in Feicheng City have been installed with electronic chips. After the chip installation is completed, relevant information such as welding-related units and certified welders have also been uploaded to the "Shandong Good Welding" intelligent supervision platform. By using this platform, through comprehensive data management and analysis, unlicensed personnel can be intercepted, and early warnings can be issued when certificates are about to expire, thus eliminating the phenomenon of unlicensed workers doing hot work at the source.
"We follow the principle of 'installing and training at the same time' to ensure that the chips are installed, the systems are entered and the front-line users are in place. Up to now, Feicheng City has entered more than 240 welding-related units, 2,180 certified welders and 1,415 electric welding machines into the "Shandong Good Welding" intelligent supervision platform.
