The new RTS game Stormgate, created by a former senior developer of Blizzard, has now opened an early access on Steam (you need to purchase the early access package, 128 yuan in China), and the game will be launched for free on August 13. As of now, the game has received 374 reviews on Steam, with an overall "mixed" evaluation, and a favorable rate of only 56%.

Since it was created by senior creators of "StarCraft 2" and "Warcraft 3", "Stormgate" is inevitably compared by players to the 14-year-old game "StarCraft 2" (2010).

Commenters pointed out that Stormgate is simply not comparable to StarCraft 2, and the game's operation has not inherited the advantages of StarCraft 2, and it is not like Warcraft or StarCraft at all. Moreover, the characters in the game are extremely ugly, and it is doubtful whether SBI is involved behind the scenes.

Some players even criticized Storm Gate for its poor feel, saying that it was not even worthy of being compared to Red Alert 2, let alone StarCraft 2.
