Recently, Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami attended the Grasshopper Direct event, and at the end of the presentation, when the two discussed their future projects, Mikami expressed that he would like to see the return of "Seven Faces Killer", which he and Goichi Suda co-created.

"I've realised that I want to be as hands-on as possible when it comes to game creation, and I'd love to see Suda make a sequel to Seven Faces," Mikami said.

"Really?" Suda replied, before adding: "Maybe one day we'll see a sequel to Seven Faces, or an enhanced and complete version."

"The most important thing is whether you want to do it," Mikami said.

Suda responded, "I'd rather make the full version first. Then I'd make The Eleven-Faced Killer." Mikami then asked if the sequel would actually be called The Eleven-Faced Killer? Suda clarified, "I'm not sure, maybe. Maybe The Seven-Faced Killer: Beyond."
