Focusing on the various policy resolutions of the Third Plenary Session, I would like to talk about the development path and core productivity of Real from the two aspects of 'reform' and 'talent team building'." On July 26, Real Group founder, chairman and CEO Zou Qifang said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from the China Times.

From July 15 to 18, the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing. This plenary session was a very important meeting held closely around promoting Chinese-style modernization and further deepening reform in an all-round way. The plenary session successfully completed all agendas and reviewed and approved the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization" (hereinafter referred to as the "Decision"). The "Decision" focuses on further comprehensively deepening reform and promoting Chinese-style modernization, drawing a new blueprint for China's economic and social development and boosting the confidence of many parties.

After studying the "Decision", Zou Qifang was deeply moved. He said that a high-level socialist market economic system is an important guarantee for China's modernization. For this reason, Ruier Group organized its employees to pay attention to the grand occasion of this meeting in various forms, and was determined to hold high the banner of reform and opening up with a more high-spirited attitude and a more full spirit, unite and forge ahead, and strive for the high-quality development of the medical and health industry.

Promote the sinking of high-quality medical resources and digital transformation

The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee put forward requirements and arrangements for various tasks under the current new situation and new environment, and pointed out important directions for further promoting Chinese-style modernization. The plenary session proposed deepening the reform of the medical and health system and improving the support and service system for population development. It also proposed optimizing the allocation of medical resources, strengthening the construction of primary medical and health service capabilities, promoting the sinking of high-quality medical resources, and guiding patients to seek medical treatment in a reasonable manner.

Zou Qifang introduced that the Ruier Group has always been committed to promoting the sinking of high-quality medical resources. Since 2011, the Ruier Group has started to participate in the "Comprehensive Prevention and Treatment of Oral Diseases for Orphans and Disabled Children" initiated by the China Dental Disease Prevention and Treatment Foundation, and raised funds through annual charity golf tournaments. As of 2023, the "Ruier Cup" Charity Golf Tournament has raised a total of 1.8682 million yuan in donations, covered more than 40,000 people with health education, more than 20,000 people with oral examinations, more than 20,000 teeth with pit and fissure sealing treatment, and nearly 10,000 caries fillings. Ruier's doctors and nurses use their spare time to participate in charity activities and help children provide free clinics.

As the "first listed dental chain in China", the Ruier Group has 972 full-time dentists, of which nearly 50% have master's degrees or above, and these doctors have an average of 11 years of industry experience. In order to encourage more outstanding dentists to develop their careers in Ruier, the Ruier Group is promoting a partnership mechanism. Zou Qifang hopes that "the partnership plan under preparation can maximize the initiative of individual dentists, and mobilizing everyone's initiative through such a mechanism can accelerate development. This is a very important part of cultural inheritance. If we can do it well, we can get twice the result with half the effort."

At present, the Ruier Group is transforming the know-how (proprietary technology) of dentists into systematic services for providing high-quality oral care by promoting the digitalization process. The company's digitalization is not only applied to the precise treatment of dentists, the training of doctors and the work process, but also combines the supply chain to carry out refined business management. At the same time, digital technology equipment such as 3D printing is used to provide personalized services for patients.

Zou Qifang said that digital infrastructure not only provides dentists with clear medical quality, compliance guidelines and treatment standards, but also helps improve operational efficiency. The SaaS platform and medical quality management system of the Ruier Group not only provide patients with personalized diagnosis and treatment in a timely manner, but also maintain patient information with the help of advanced electronic medical record (or EMR) systems, providing patients with high-quality follow-up services.

Keep up with the theme of high-quality development and continue to innovate to promote corporate progress

In Zou Qifang's view, high-quality development is one of the core themes of China's current economic development. Following this objective law, Real Group proposed a future development blueprint on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, which is to focus on improving service quality and customer experience.

It is reported that, as of now, Ruier Group is a listed company with more than 120 stores in the national chain. Zou Qifang said frankly that from 0 to 1, from 1 to N, Ruier's development has experienced many leaps. After the high-end brand "Ruier Dental" was deployed in first-tier cities, in 2012, Ruier Group launched its second brand, "Ruitai Dental", to provide professional and efficient dental medical services for the middle class.

Zou Qifang told reporters, "Laying a solid foundation and continuously improving the company's competitiveness and market influence will surely promote the next stage of high-quality development of Ruier Group. In 2014, Ruier made the decision to expand into the western market. In 2017, it built its own 'mobile, intelligent' operation and management platform. In 2022, Ruier Group was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. These decisions have had a significant impact on Ruier's development and have also brought positive results. Ruier adheres to an open mind, growth mindset, and continuous innovation. By independently designing 'quality inspection coefficients' and 'red line indicators', we improve the quality of oral medical services and aim to provide patients with safe and effective treatment."

Studying the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, it is emphasized that the talent development system should be deepened. Zou Qifang recalled that in terms of talent training, Ruier has always adhered to the principle of being enterprising and focusing on team building. As the company's business purpose, Ruier adheres to the empowerment strategy and provides opportunities and platforms to fully unleash the potential of employees. Since 2003, Ruier has directly recruited fresh graduates of master's and doctoral degrees from campus. Currently, campus recruits account for 20% of the doctor team, of which more than 30% of campus recruits have taken up management positions at all levels.

Zou Qifang said, "Rare continues to attract experienced doctors to join. For doctors with more than five years of experience, I almost always interview them in person. I want to know why they choose Rare Group. The most frequent answer to this question is, 'I want to find a platform where I can learn and improve, a platform where medical work is the essence.' So far, dentists who have worked in Rare Group for more than five years, ten years and fifteen years account for 38%, 14% and 6.4% of the total number of dentists in the group, indicating a high employee retention rate."

Zou Qifang said that the convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has provided new opportunities and impetus for the development of the Ruier Group.
