the double-barreled gun is a long-standing and classic firearm structure. however, this structure is mostly used in shotguns. it is very rarely used in close combat firearms such as pistols. although it appeared about 100 years ago, in the true sense the first mass-produced double-barreled pistol appeared in this century, which was arsenal's af2011-a1.

the af2011-a1 is essentially an improvement on the classic colt m1911 pistol. the action principle, basic structure and ammunition caliber of the pistol are the same, except that many parts are "split" into two parts.

the ejection position of the m1911 pistol is on the right side of the top. the double-barreled structure of the af2011-a1 is no longer suitable for this structure, so the designer made the left and right firearm structures eject the shells to their respective sides.

although the af2011-a1 pistol is not very complicated, it is more complicated to manufacture than two colt m1911s. in addition, it uses different processing technology, so the cost is very high, and it is a luxury item among firearms. the regular version has a suggested retail price of $4,400, and the upgraded version that uses satin stainless steel, adjustable sights and other structures has a suggested retail price of $4,950.

although the af2011-a1 is sold on the market as a civilian semi-automatic pistol, the price is obviously not something that ordinary people can consume at will. this does not include additional items such as holsters, not to mention the limited luxury version.

there are 3 versions of the double-barreled pistol in terms of structure. the first is the basic version. the second dueller uses a 6.5-inch stainless steel barrel. the grip and trigger assembly are slightly different. there are toothed structures on both sides of the slide. the most obvious feature of the third dueller prismatic is the installation of a muzzle brake.

although the double-barreled af2011-a1 pistol is very distinctive and comfortable to shoot. it can shoot out all 16 bullets in the magazine within 3 seconds, the practicality of the gun is not high, at least for military and police officers. this is true for the department, so it can only be a luxury product sold to the civilian market. for arsenal, it is a very good promotional postcard.

the af2011-a1 standard model weighs 1.85 kg, has a gun length of 220 mm, of which the barrel is 125 mm long. it fires semi-automatically and has the same effective range as a conventional pistol.
