the national day is getting closer and closer, and all the environmental decorations in the temple of heaven park are in place, filled with a grand and lively festival atmosphere. this year, more than 300 varieties and more than 250,000 flowers have decorated the ancient temple of heaven. the themed flower beds have a three-dimensional and unique shape, ground flowers are integrated into the green scenery of the ancient temple, and the characteristic flowers of the temple of heaven are perfectly integrated with the ancient buildings.
when citizens and tourists step into the north gate of the temple of heaven, they will be attracted by a large three-dimensional flower bed of "ruyi". the main scene is a hollow "ruyi" fan shape in the traditional chinese artistic style. on the "fan", the main design includes ruyi cloud pattern elements, and the perspective view of the fan is the shape of mountains. around the "fan", blooming flower trees, roses and other shapes are arranged, forming a layered and colorful flower bed landscape.
li xia, a senior engineer at the tiantan park flower center, said that the "tuantuanruyi" flower bed mainly uses four-season crabapples, five-color grass, peacock grass, petunia, mountain peach grass, buddleia, a string of red, rose, chrysanthemum ball, bougainvillea and other varieties. the flowers are also matched with roses, chrysanthemums, bougainvillea, dahlias and other special flowers independently cultivated and maintained by tiantan. the total number of flowers used is about 100,000. in addition to the theme flower beds, the temple of heaven park also designed three flower borders composed of ground flowers this year, with a total area of 3,700 square meters. the ancient temple of heaven appears full of vitality.
the ground-planted flower border with the theme of "good trees are like clouds and hundreds of flowers are fragrant" is located on the forest lawn on the south side of the northeast waitan square. “for the first time this year, we built green steel mesh for these lawns suitable for ground cover growth, designed them into invisible garden paths, and integrated more than 60 varieties of roses, chrysanthemums, dahlias, bougainvillea, chrysanthemums, lantana, etc. into the natural flower border.
