helping rural revitalization and water source protection
good mountains and good waters produce good fish. the fish from miyun reservoir, the capital's water source, is tender, juicy and delicious. it has achieved full organic certification and has now become one of miyun's iconic brands. every year during the fishing season, guests from all over the world will participate in the cultural festival activities and be the first to taste the first-caught fish.

in this auction of king fish, there were 3 king fish this year. one was the carp leaping over the dragon gate - carp king, weighing 28 kilograms, and finally sold at a bid price of 180,000 yuan; one was the bighead carp embracing the golden autumn - bighead carp king, weighing 38 kilograms, and finally sold at a bid price of 200,000 yuan; and one was the black carp king soaring straight to the sky, weighing 57.5 kilograms, which was 12 kilograms heavier than last year's black carp king, becoming a well-deserved "fish king", and finally sold at a bid price of 300,000 yuan.
it is reported that all the proceeds from the on-site auction, amounting to 680,000 yuan, were donated to the beijing miyun reservoir protection public welfare foundation. they will be used as public welfare funds to support rural revitalization, poverty alleviation and water source protection work in zhuxi county of hubei province, kulun banner of inner mongolia, luanping county of hebei province and other areas that miyun district has paired up with to provide assistance.

to welcome the october golden week, miyun district of beijing has launched the "affordable ice prices" tourism products for the benefit of the people. among them, products from 16 scenic spots including gubei water town, yunmeng mountain, and changyu aife castle have been launched on douyin, and the event will last until the end of october.
miyun district has also launched 15 micro-vacation boutique routes with five themes, namely "miyun autumn colors, autumn fun for parents and children, sports experts, literary check-in, and beijing color study tour", forming a boutique fishing tourism route that integrates food, sports, leisure, and entertainment, leading tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery of miyun in october.
