the competition was hosted by the hunan provincial department of veterans affairs and organized by the provincial veterans service center. liu fengxian, deputy director of the national veterans service center, went to the site to provide guidance and present awards to the winners. xie chun, secretary of the party leadership group and director of the provincial department of veterans affairs, attended the event and delivered a speech.
the competition is themed "study, think, practice, strengthen ability, be full of enthusiasm and provide excellent service", and consists of five parts: style display, compulsory questions, quick-answer questions, risk questions, and scenario simulation. the content covers employment and entrepreneurship support, visits and condolences, assistance and relief, letter and visit reception, rights protection, ideological and political work and other business skills related to veterans' service and support; it comprehensively and multi-dimensionally tests the theoretical knowledge reserves and practical application capabilities of the staff of the grassroots veterans service centers (stations).
during the competition, the contestants worked together, responded calmly, thought seriously and answered carefully, demonstrating solid professional qualities and good team spirit.
after fierce competition, the chenzhou team won the first prize, the hengyang and shaoyang teams won the second prize, and the xiangtan, yongzhou and changde teams won the third prize.
xie chun pointed out that this competition is a review and training of the province's system business capabilities, and provides an important platform for the staff of veterans service centers (stations) to learn, exchange and improve. it is hoped that veterans affairs departments at all levels will take this competition as an opportunity to normalize business training and skills training, continuously improve the staff's ability to grasp policies, do veterans' work, and analyze and deal with risks, and strive to promote the high-quality development of veterans' work in the province.
