at the opening ceremony, the organizer awarded the first "cultural relics guardian (group)" honorary certificate of dongcheng district, beijing to individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of cultural relics protection and utilization, including han dongdong, a volunteer of the central axis cultural relics, wu guanli, head of the "craftsman camp" cultural park of jingcheng group, li yifei, captain of the "red boat leading the fourth national census" volunteer team of renmin university of china, the "wenrun dongcheng" charity trust project team of yingda trust, and the xinwei changxiang yandun digital restoration project team. this is to commend their outstanding contributions in the field of cultural relics protection and to encourage more people to join the ranks of protecting cultural heritage.

the event also released a list of "ancient building alliance" cities, including qinhuangdao, hebei, chengde, hebei, yuncheng, shanxi, nantong, jiangsu, chizhou, anhui, huangshan, anhui, zhaotong, yunnan, lhasa, tibet, hohhot, inner mongolia, and deyang, sichuan. these ten cities have profound historical and cultural heritage. the event aims to promote academic interconnection, resource sharing, achievement sharing, and development promotion through cross-regional cooperation, explore the multiple values of cultural relics and cultural heritage, and build a national ancient building, cultural and tourism cooperation platform.

this year's ancient architecture art festival also specially added the "ancient architecture art education: ancient architecture campus tour" section, inviting relevant cultural relics colleges and societies from well-known universities in beijing to popularize cultural relics and architectural knowledge to primary and secondary school students. at the same time, a special "finding the beauty of ancient architecture cultural creativity" cultural and creative package was launched, displaying exquisite themed cultural and creative works such as the bell and drum tower, hongen temple, cao xueqin's former residence memorial hall, ming city wall ruins, and guardian art center to attract public participation.
