on september 21, two anglers went fishing in the hanjiang river section of zhongjiazhai village, xianrendu town, laohekou city, hubei province, but unexpectedly got stuck on the mudflat. the local police and the blue sky rescue team helped the anglers escape safely in 20 minutes.

at around 20:00 on the 21st, the laohekou police received a call from a citizen asking for help through the 110 number. two fishing enthusiasts were trapped on the beach of the han river in zhongjiazhai village. the police calmed the caller down over the phone while confirming the exact location where they were trapped.

it is understood that the two anglers were from dengzhou city, henan province. they waded from the riverside to the mudflat to fish that afternoon. when they were preparing to return in the evening, they found that the river water had risen and the two were trapped.

the police and the blue sky rescue team came to the river with equipment and saw that the water was turbulent and the situation in the water was complicated. the trapped people were far away from the shore, making rescue difficult. after investigation, the water upstream was relatively calm, and everyone unanimously decided to take a rubber boat from upstream to the beach for rescue.

at 21:10, the rubber boat slowly sailed from upstream to the mudflat. due to the high tide, fast current and poor visibility at night, it took 20 minutes to drive back and forth for a distance of more than 300 meters to rescue the two anglers to shore.

"i wanted to try to wade back, but after taking a few steps in the water, i found that the current was very fast. i accidentally fell. i was so scared that i quickly went back! thank you so much!" a fishing friend said excitedly to the police.
